I have mwd, cap recharger and scrambler in meds. When I turn heat on, and activate only mwd, scrambler and cap recharger gets damage as well. Even if scrambler is not active and offlined.
IMO, heat should affect only activated modules:
If I overload high slots and activate only one launcher, only activated launcher gets damage. Other ones remains undamaged.
And scrambler breaks pretty fast, cap recharger even faster. It needs less than 1/10 time of mwd breaking time to break

How come that even offlined modules gets damaged?

Before activate "I'm so smart module" again please read this again:
If heat is supposed to damage all modules in same rack, how come that:
1. higs slots: only activated launcher gets damaged, 2. med slots: if mwd is activated, other modules in med rack gets damaged as well, even offlined ones.
How come that high slots are using different logic than med ones?

In that case modules on Minmatar ships gets no heat damage because all their modules are ductaped on hull :)

Strange  After DT all launchers gets damage. Both active and non active.
Which conlude my question: Yes, all modules in same rack gets heat damage, both active and non active.
But I'm still thinking that modules which requires manual activation should be damaged only if activated.
